A stroll through times long past

The nature-park of Artstetten counts as one of the most important historical parks in Austria. In the 6 hectare of ecologically preserved parkland are impressive ancient specimen trees to be seen, as well as the idyllic bathing pavilion at the “Pool” of Archduke Carl Ludwig.

In addition from May to June the peonies can be admired with their glorious blossoms. Further special features are the chestnut avenue laid out according to the principles of geomancy, or the terraced rose garden with its two “Spuck-Männer” (spewing men. i.e. fountains).
